Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Senior Producer at R/GA:

On any given day you might

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams ensuring they stay on task and meet project objectives. ● Write scopes of work, track the financial burn on a project.
  • Plan project approaches, manage high and detailed schedules.
  • Review deliverables with stakeholders, plan effectively for input and feedback.
  • Organise outputs for multiple formats.
  • Motivate and lead a team, escalate issues and ask for support where necessary.
  • Work closely with the Client and leadership team.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the requirements & are of the highest quality.
  • Problem solve and work with unexpected changes,limiting and documenting impacts with scope.
  • Assist with developing new business opportunities given new technologies.
  • Liaise and build a network of makers and creators.
  • Onboard and work with freelance and Japanese production partners.
  • Actively identify, mitigate and manage project risk.
  • Mentor team members in areas of expertise.

The ideal person

  • Is decisive, calm and can motivate a team.
  • Has excellent negotiations skills and experience.
  • Knows how to scope large engagements and develop project plans.
  • Has experience collaborating with interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Adapts to tools and uses these to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Has ability to track large scale budgets, and is resourceful with small ones.
  • Is a confident presenter and comfortable interacting with senior level clients in Japanese if required. ● Has produced a variety of formats and is comfortable adapting to new technologies.

You bring

  • 5+ years’ experience as an integrated producer or directly related experience working with print, content, digital, experiential or web formats.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Passion and technical knowledge.
  • Positive resilience and good vibes.
  • Desire to learn and work with the best.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing Japanese, advanced English proficiency.

Holiday/Working Hours

  • Holiday: Saturday, Sunday, National holidays

Remote / Hybrid Options

At R/GA Tokyo we’ve been working remotely for the past 2 years, and have fully embraced our flexible working philosophy. We will be opening up our office space in Ebisu-nishi, Shibuya, in the summer and under the new hybrid working environment will have options on coming to the office when required.
