About R/GA

We design business and brands for a more human future at the intersection of brand, experience, marketing & technology.

As a member of R/GA you will help us to do just that. Your role is to design brands and experiences that move culture and improve people’s lives. This is our ethos. We move culture by creating ideas that people talk about, share and influence popular culture. We improve people’s lives by creating experiences that have a positive impact on people’s daily lives, in big or small ways.

The Role

Our Designers are makers and storytellers that use design to bring ideas to life. They lead projects into unchartered territories. They’re brave and bold. They’re a crew of misfits and defiers of convention. They’re design fundamentalists, but approach projects with rational and innovative mindsets. They extend visual language, always mindful of how it looks and how it works.

The Associate Creative Director is responsible for driving world-class creativity across R/GA Australia’s offerings through inspiring ideas, highest levels of craft and cross discipline collaboration. It’s a conceptual role, with accountability for delivering work that connects customers to brands in new, unexpected ways. It’s expected to be unexpected, breaks boundaries and play at the edges of possibility in every and any medium including products, experiences and communication pieces.

Together with creative leaders in the region, it’s an opportunity to define the next era of R/GA.

On any given day you might:

Our Values

Our purpose is to create a more human future. We lead by our six values:

  1. We’re kind humans. We’re not “resources”, we’re real people. We treat everyone with integrity and respect, and leave our egos in the elevator.

  1. We’re outsiders. We go where others won’t to uncover hidden opportunities. We challenge tradition and ignore the status quo. We don’t care what everyone else is doing, only what we’re doing next.

  1. We’re better together. None of us are as good as all of us. Brilliant ideas can come from anywhere, but more often than not ours come from everyone. We thrive on our differences and actively collaborate across regions, time zones, and cultures.

  1. We’re changemakers. We choose to embrace change. We don’t just react to today; we act on tomorrow. We want to change the world (and we’re not afraid of changing ourselves in the process).

  1. We’re radical optimists. We’re in love with the possibility, but never blind to the reality. We can tease out the potential in any problem, and once we find the silver lining, we’ll get to work mining it.

  1. We’re always learning. We stay relentlessly curious, forever looking for new ways of doing things. We know there’s no such thing as perfection, and that’s fine, because the journey is just as important as the destination.

Diversity

No-matter who you are, where you’re from, who you love, follow in faith, disability (or superpower) status, ethnicity or the gender you identify with (please do tell us your pronouns), you're welcome at R/GA. If you have any requests or requirements to support you throughout any interview process, please do let us know.
