Talent Managers are strategic partners to discipline and business leads to cast high performing teams and advise on staffing trends. Talent managers across the R/GA network work closely together to cast, manage and leverage internal talents across a wide range of projects. As a Talent Manager you are key to supporting an individual career development by providing access to opportunities. You will be required to understand the skillsets of the individual talents in your group.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Talent Manager at R/GA:

On any given day you might

  • Work with producers/leads to understand client engagements, SOWs, and funding that drive talent needs
  • Liaise with various department heads to understand and manage talent gaps and needs 
  • Connect with talent to understand personal goals and growth to inform innovative casting solutions 
  • Lead meetings focused on talent casting or allocations 
  • Identify freelancer needs, manage freelancer forecasting and assist with on-boarding/off-boarding transitions
  • Monitor talent bandwidth to maximize utilization and create balance across teams
  • Work with our global Talent Management team to encourage cross-department and office collaboration 
  • Partner with HR to escalate any information related employee relations and contribute to employee performance reviews

You bring

  • 3+ years’ of project management or operations experience in a production environment
  • Budgeting and production experience
  • A strong understanding of MS Excel and familiarity with enterprise management applications
  • Experience working across disciplines within a digital agency
